Stellar Spectra


Spectra of stars are very complex (Thousands of lines!).

Every single one of them can be matched with an element (or compound) whose spectrum we measure here on Earth.

The obvious explanation is that the stars are made of the same stuff that we are... (Although of course not in the same proportions.)
