Dark Energy


Dark energy is a funny concept:
A box full of nothing still has something in it!

But particle physics theory says it's certainly possible...

In principle it could be negative as well as positive:
If positive acts as an intrinsic repulsion driving the the universe to expand.
If negative acts as an attractive force causing the universe to collapse.
