Observing With DASI


There is internet connection via satellite for about 8 hours per day.
Reasonable bandwidth (megabit).
Telescope is fully robotic in normal operation.
Instruction "scripts" are sent down automatically from a computer here in Chicago.
Data is also transferred back automatically each day (200MB/day).
Work on the analysis "pipeline" as the data accumulates...
A brave soul stays with the telescope through the long Antarctic night to watch over it and fix any problems.
