Universe With and Without Inflation



Inflation posits a brief period of hyper expansion a tiny fraction of a second after the big bang which creates the entire observable Universe from a quantum fluctuation - expansion is effectively superluminal - decouples regions which are still causally reconnecting today!
This process also automatically produces zero curvature and scale free initial perturbations
